A large space within a walled garden of an old Manor House the brief was to provide a traditional garden. Using nineteenth century principles as developed by Gertrude Jekyll but with many modern introductions rich planting was introduced in curving beds contained within a well maintained sweeping lawn. Careful choices gives ample wildlife cover and food resources as well as a sumptuous outlook. This garden requires high maintenance but delivers reward all year round.
