Have a wildlife garden fit for the 21st century and the changing climate that we have.

We are a Cambridge-based ecological garden design consultancy. We craft visually stunning and ecologically sound garden spaces that encourage biodiversity and foster an environment thriving with wildlife. From native plant selections to habitat creation, every design decision is rooted in sustainability.

A wildlife garden is not simply a garden left to go wild. It is a considered, designed space, one that works as hard for the natural world as it does for the people who live in it. The difference between a garden that supports wildlife and one that genuinely thrives with it comes down to how it is designed, what it is planted with, and how it is managed over time.

We design ecological gardens that put nature first. That means choosing plants with purpose: native species and near-natives that provide food, shelter and breeding habitat for insects, birds and small mammals throughout the seasons. It means thinking about soil, about structure, about the connections between one part of the garden and another. A well-designed wildlife garden does not look neglected. It looks alive.

Our approach to ecological planting design is soil first. Healthy soil is the foundation of a healthy garden, and the starting point for everything we do. By working with low-nutrient substrates, reducing the need for feeding and intervention, and choosing plants that are suited to the conditions rather than fighting against them, we create gardens that are genuinely low-maintenance and genuinely resilient to the kind of summers we are increasingly seeing across Cambridgeshire.

Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to transform an existing garden, we offer garden design and consultancy services across Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, and the wider East of England. We can help you create an outdoor space that is beautiful to look at, rich in wildlife, and built to last in a changing climate.
